Postponed! Make it Fair campaign planning meeting on June 14

Make It FairThe Ontario Federation of Labour has postponed the “Make It Fair” Assembly scheduled for this evening at the Ottawa Public Library.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  The meeting will be re-scheduled over the next few months.  In the meantime please stay tuned to http://www.makeitfair.ca/ to keep up-to-date on the campaign.  Thank you.

We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to win changes to Ontario’s employment laws. The provincial government is currently in the process of reviewing labour laws and we have the chance to make significant changes that would benefit Ontario’s approximately seven (7) million workers.

To help make sure positive change happens, the Make It Fair campaign is holding a series of meetings across the province. The goal of these meetings is to do local campaign planning, including how to ramp up pressure on area MPPs and do outreach to our members and community.

An Ottawa Make It Fair meeting is taking place on Tuesday, June 14 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the auditorium of the Ottawa Main Library, 120 Metcalfe Street.

The meeting is open to all, including ALL local Union presidents and executive members, members of the local and the political action/campaigns chair and related community organizations.
